In Tandem is a gripping survival adventure thriller directed by Luc Walpoth and written by Emile Hirsch. Starring Hirsch and Ben Norris, the story centers on two estranged high school friends who reconnect at a climbing gym and impulsively decide to summit a real mountain together — despite having zero outdoor experience. As old conflicts surface while they dangle high above the ground, the pair must confront both the wilderness and each other to make it down alive. Inspired by the spirit of Free Solo and The Dawn Wall, and featuring climbing icons Alex Honnold and Brette Harrington, the film delivers a pulse-pounding exploration of trust, endurance, and the razor-thin line between ambition and survival.
